Meet the PB&J Quilt!

The PB&J quilt pattern is here! Designed to be loaded with color, this quilt features uniform blocks paired with random elements in the sashing, giving it a decidedly playful, energetic aesthetic. I named it the PB&J quilt because the Y Blocks that make up this quilt remind me of a classic PB&J sandwich!

For my quilt, I used fabrics from my La Costa collection, available at Spoonflower, paired with Riley Blake Confetti Cotton solids.

The quilt pattern is for a large throw size quilt, measuring approximately 67” x 67”, however, one could easily add additional quilt blocks to make the quilt larger.

Because the blocks are grouped by color, the quilt design lends itself to individual creativity and makes it a fabulous scrap buster.

As another bonus, I have a YouTube video demonstrating how to make a Y Block. This quilt is entire made up of Y Blocks, so you won’t want to miss this tutorial!
